Borgata Poker Open
Brian O'Donoghue (Bayside, NY) has pulled off improbable back-to-back wins at the Borgata Poker Open for a total of $101,720. Not a bad return on the $630 he put up to play.
O'Donoghue beat 615 entries (Event 10) for $50,132 and 1,237 (Event 15) entries for $51,588 to outlast 1,852 entries over two days which has gotten him a lot of admiration.
Shortly after his 9 am victory, poker players were waking up to the news and Twitter has been going crazy ever since.
