Rocha Raking Chips, Building Castles
Players are on a one hour dinner break and chip leader Alex Rocha (S. Setaukey, NY) is disputing another player's account that he was gifted chips during the last level.
Rocha says he made a good call with third pair on a flush heavy board, which tilted the player into 5-bet shipping his remaining 75k on the next hand. Rocha opened the betting with pocket kings and when the hands were tabled he was against A2 for the knockout.
Rocha is up to 300k and now 5 for 5 in dinner vouchers as he's made the dinner break in every tournament he's played at the Borgata Poker Open.
Play resumes at 8:30 pm.
