Event 1: Chip Leader

$500 + $60 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)

Jonathan Kim
Chip Leader

Jonathan Kim (Monroe, NY) is a marked man after quietly amassing the chip lead late last night in the Poker Room.  He says he chipped up on the last two levels and added 300k to finish with 926k.

"I've got my eye on his stack," says Siani Gerard (Brooklyn, NY) who has the unenviable task of being on Kim's immediate right with 57k.

Not only does Kim have the chip lead, but he has the other eight players covered as the rest of the table's total is 811k.  In addition to being the big stack, Kim is more than free rolling as he took home the $10,000 Day 1B chip leader bonus, but he won't be resting on his laurels.

"I'm still going for the 300-grand," says Kim who knows there's a long way to go win the tournament and the $309,196 first prize.
