It was the hand versus Patterson that would be the end for Williams, but all that was left was the paperwork basically.  He was all-in for less than the big blind, and ended up losing to Matthew Burnitz who made two pair on the river against Williams's queen high.  Williams take home $97,770 for his 8th place finish.

As Matt Affleck was doing an interview with Fifth Street Radio, John Allan Hinds yells to Matt that his good friend Tyler Patterson (Everett, WA) was all-in (against Jeffrey Williams).  As we walked to the table is was:

A brutal beat as Patterson four flushes to double up, and cripples Williams (leaving him with 100,000). Patterson now has ~ 6,000,000.

Players are back from break, and it's back to where we were before.  Players are super quiet, and there is a lot of raising and picking up blind and antes.

Event 26: Bounty Bubble Breaks / Holm Cashes

The final 27 players are in the money including Mike Holm (Woodridge, IL) who is in the hunt to win the Borgata Poker Open Leaderboard promotion.

Holm's 26th place finish will earn him a few more points as he looks to close the gap on Brian O'Donoghue (Bayside, NY).  Holm began the day 84 points behind O'Donoghue who has posted the score to beat and not playing any more events.

Holm, in addition to playing the 11 am bounty tournament, racked up participation points in the 6 pm tournament.  But just after busting with JJ vs QQ in the 11 am, he was eliminated in the 6pm.

He knows Friday's schedule gives him only two more chances to earn points to give him a shot at winning the contest and the $2,700 Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship seat.

Brady fades the three outer on the river and doubles to 2.3 million, while Diaz drops to 9.2 million. As Brady scoops the pot, Tyler Patterson says, "most of me was rooting for you."

Coming back from dinner the tables was really quiet, and players were just keeping to themselves.  Players began talking football, and suddenly to level of chattiness went up and up.  They were needling each other about pre flop play and post flop play, and that conversation played over into this hand.  Patrick was messing around saying he wasn't sure what to do, so he just limped the 80,000.  It folded around Ofir Mor on the button, and he asked Patrick what he had behind (1,600,000).  Mor then raised to 400,000, and it folded back to Eskandar.  Patrick then went all-in and Mor called:

Scott was one of the shorter stacks left in this event, and he was in the small blind when it was folded around to him.  He only had slightly more than 10 big blinds, and shoved his last 830,000 trying to pick up the big blind and antes.  David Diaz (chip leader) made the call:

During the previous level, a big hand developed involving Abe Korotki and Pete Mavro. 

After a raise and a couple of callers, a short stack was all in with 33, Abe was all in for 130k with AJ, and Pete had them both covered holding AK.

The small pair was good to take the main pot.  Pete took the large side pot with AK and collected Abe's bounty.

Pete is up to 300k, good for the chip lead.  He's not quite free-rolling with 7 bounties in his pocket because he busted out early and had to re-enter.
